LThe Grand Sourel gîte has been awarded 3-star "Meublé de tourisme" status, and can comfortably accommodate 6 to 8 people (10 maximum).
As well as being very user-friendly, it boasts an exceptional location and view. 
Its beautiful chestnut wood terrace faces south-east, with the sun rising over Mont Lozère. 
This is a house of character built of local stone with panoramic views over the Cévennes hills. 
It has been carefully renovated using traditional, organic materials. 
The hot water you use is produced by solar energy (20 m2 of panels). 
The gîte is located on the famous "Corniche des Cévennes", between Saint Jean du Gard and Florac, in the Cévennes National Park. IGN maps of the region, guidebooks, books and brochures are available on site. 
The facilities are of course in line with the label awarded.

Central heating is available for winter stays, and the wood-burning stove may sometimes be sufficient in between seasons (a wheelbarrow of wood is provided). 
Finally, in addition to the large wooden terrace with access to the kitchen, the gîte has a very large outdoor flowered area (200 m²) with barbecue, portico and garden furniture.
