The Petit Sourel gîte has been awarded 3-star ‘Meublé de tourisme’ status: it can comfortably accommodate 2 to 4 people (5 maximum).
As well as being very user-friendly, it boasts an exceptional location and view.
Its beautiful enclosed terrace faces south-west, with the sun setting over Mont Aigoual.
This is a house of character built of local stone with panoramic views over the Cévennes hills.
It has been carefully renovated using traditional, organic materials.
The hot water you use is produced by solar energy (20 m2 of panels).
The gîte is located on the famous ‘Corniche des Cévennes’, between Saint Jean du Gard and Florac, in the Cévennes National Park. IGN maps of the region, guidebooks, books and brochures are available on site.
The equipment is of course in accordance with the label awarded to it.

- Upstairs, 2 bedrooms, each with 1 double bed (140 x 200) and an overhanging mezzanine with 2 single beds (90 x 200) (possibility of 6 single beds in the gîte),

The washing machine and tumble dryer are in a shared area.
There is central heating for winter stays, and a wood-burning stove may sometimes suffice in between seasons (a wheelbarrow of wood is provided).

General terms and conditions of rental
For weekend and short stays, the arrival time is agreed with the owner.
A detailed map showing how to get to the cottage will be sent to you with the contract.

In the event of cancellation of the contract by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt,
- at least 60 days before the date of the stay: 100% refund of the deposit;
- 30 to 60 days before the date of the stay: 50% refund of the deposit;
If cancellation occurs within 30 days prior to the date of arrival, the deposit will be retained in full by the owner and the balance of the amount due for the stay may be requested by the owner.
In the event of a shortened stay, the full amount of the rental for the period booked will be payable to the owner.

The deposit (30% of the rental price) must be paid at the time of booking and must reach the owner no later than the date indicated on the contract, by cheque or bank transfer.
The balance must be paid on arrival by cheque, holiday voucher or cash, or by bank transfer no later than 48 hours before the start of the holiday.
You can opt for the ‘cleaning/final cleaning option’ (€50 for Le Petit Sourel).
This option does not dispense with the usual daily maintenance: cleaning the oven, taking out the rubbish, etc.
